2. Submission Requirements
A complete submission must include the following. Incomplete submissions may be rejected or held pending additional information.
Tool name — the official name as shown on the tool's website
Website URL — the direct, working URL of the tool
Short description — one clear sentence explaining what the tool does (max 120 characters)
Full description — two to four sentences covering core functionality, target users, and key differentiators
Category — the primary category that best describes the tool
Pricing model — Free, Freemium, Paid, or Contact for pricing
Logo URL — a clean, high-quality logo image URL (ideally SVG or 256×256 PNG)
Tags — at least three relevant keywords describing the tool's capabilities
Submitter's email — for communication about the submission status
3. Review Workflow
Every submission goes through the following steps:
Receipt & triage — We confirm receipt and conduct an initial completeness check within 1–3 business days
Evaluation — Our team tests the tool, reviews the website, and assesses the submission against our criteria
Information requests — If additional information is needed, we contact you via the email provided
Decision — We approve, request changes, or reject the submission
Publication — Approved tools are published on the directory, typically within 24 hours of approval
4. Evaluation Access
To properly review and represent your tool, our team may request:
A free trial account or extended evaluation access
A demo or walkthrough of the tool's core features
High-quality screenshots of the product interface
Product documentation, feature lists, or release notes
Pricing page clarification if the model is complex
Providing evaluation access is optional but recommended. Tools we can actively test and evaluate are more likely to receive a detailed, accurate listing and may be considered for featured placement.
Granting evaluation access does not guarantee listing approval, endorsement, or any particular ranking on StartiGeniX. All editorial decisions remain solely with our team.
5. Common Rejection Reasons
To save time, ensure your submission avoids the most common rejection triggers:
Already listed — The tool is already in our directory. Search before submitting.
Not AI-powered — The tool does not meaningfully use AI in its core functionality.
Tool not live — The URL leads to a coming-soon page, waitlist only, or broken site.
Incomplete submission — One or more required fields are missing or very low quality.
Misleading description — The description overstates the tool's capabilities or contains factual inaccuracies.
Logo issues — The provided logo URL is broken, low-resolution, or renders poorly.
Generic or vague description — Descriptions that could apply to any tool ("AI-powered platform that helps you be more productive") are insufficient.
Harmful or inappropriate content — Tool promotes harm, deception, or illegal activity.
6. Review Timeline
Our standard review timeline is 5–7 business days from submission. During high-volume periods (product launches, conference announcements, etc.), review times may extend to 10–14 business days.
If you have not received a response after 14 business days, you may follow up at divyansh@startigenix.com with your submission reference.
Approved tools are typically published within 24 hours of approval. We will notify you via the email address provided in your submission.
No guaranteed placement. Submitting your tool does not guarantee it will be listed. StartiGeniX reserves the right to reject any submission without providing a reason, and to remove previously approved listings at any time.
