Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is an autonomous AI agent developed by Nous Research. Unlike a conventional chatbot or coding copilot, it can execute multi-step tasks using a large collection of tools, maintain persistent memory, create and improve reusable skills from experience, delegate work to isolated subagents and run scheduled automations. It can operate through a terminal, desktop application and numerous messaging platforms including Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp. Hermes supports multiple model providers including Nous Portal, OpenRouter, OpenAI and custom endpoints, so users are not locked to a single AI model. It can also browse the web, generate images, use voice, connect to MCP servers and run in local, Docker, SSH or cloud/serverless environments.
